WHAT DO WE DO?
Bright Beginnings operates under the Healthy Child Manitoba umbrella. We have been in operation since 1999. Our goal is to bring together the many strengths and resources in your community and partner with those groups to establish and/or enhance programs and services for families and young children.
Healthy Child Manitoba has provided funding to Bright Beginnings to support projects that ensure Manitoba children will be physically and emotionally healthy, safe and secure, successful at learning, and socially engaged and responsible.
Thus, Bright Beginnings has grant money available to help community groups or organizations that focus on families and children, living within the boundaries of the Coalition.
Our regional boundaries coincide with those used by the North Eastman Health Association as shown on the map (click to enlarge).
Our Coalition has representation from school divisions, health care providers, childcare programs, family resource centres and the general public within the North Eastman region.
We continue to seek further membership from other interested parties.
